I had to use this vet in an emergency situation. I would have paid them anything, as I couldn't get in with the other vets I have used in the past. They charged me the exact price that I was quoted, and through researching afterward, I discovered it was the lowest price.
They had to put my dog down, and they were kind and compassionate to both me and my dog. I have heard of vets trying to get people to consent to frivolous treatments, even when the dog is dying. These guys did no such thing.

I was very impressed with the care my pet received from Dr Lehay and her staff. My bird was very sick and they did a thorough examination, made good recommendations and appropriate referrals. We would like to thank Dr Cichon for his excellent care out of our Welsh Terrier. Our regular vet could no longer provide treatment for her myasthenia gravis, a debilitating muscle disease. Dr Cichon, along with acupuncture sessions and supplements significantly improved her quality of life. We found Dr Cichon to be very compassionate and extremely knowledgeable handling such a difficult case. Thank you to Kathy, too.

The Vet and staff of this Animal Clinic is phenomenal. My boy was sick and finally lost his battle. It was traumatic for me but the Vet and her staff called me to check up on my fur baby even through the holidays. They treated him and myself so tenderly and compassionately.
I highly recommend them in caring for your fur babies needs and care. Thank you so much Doctor and the staff...I shall never forget your kindness through such a traumatic time!

People who know me know that I am not big on "conventional" medicine (prefer homeopathics, no vaccinations, raw feeding), so if I can recommend Yaletown Pet Hospital - they must be amazing to impress me. I do not "trust" easily, but after our appointment with Dr. Vandermeer, I felt confident in her abilities and her genuine love and compassion for animals. The vet tech who assisted, Amber Lloyd, is simply the kindest, sweetest person you will ever meet and she watched over Minnie like a hawk! I booked the appointment for dental surgery for the next day. When I picked up Minnie, they took time to review how everything went and exactly what was done and scheduled a followup appointment. Minnie's recovery was very fast and by that evening, she was eating and back to her crazy, loveable self. I was very, very pleased to say the least. So, if you are looking for a really great vet clinic, I highly recommend Yaletown Pet Hospital. When you book your appointment, tell them Minnie sent you!

Amazing experience. I was referred to Dr. Harry by a friend of mine as I wasn't happy with my previous veterinary clinic that I had been going to for 7 years, so I booked an appointment and took my 7 year old Morkie to get her annual check up.
