The food is fantastic! The cesear salad is so good, probably the best Ive ever had. The firecracker chicken wraps are to die for. After dinner we went outside for a smoke, and when we returned our table had been cleared so the waitress apologized, gave us a new table and new drinks. When we want to order chinese food we always order from here as they deliver to the Katimavik Area of Kanata. Our standing order for them is egg rolls, hot and sour soup, won ton soup, salt and pepper shrimp, shechwan shrimp, beef and brocoli, sweet and sour pork, almond chicken su guy, cantoneses chowmein, chicken fried rice. Sometimes we change a few dishes we love their general taos chicken too as well as their sizzling pepper beef ( not usually available for delivery) It costs approx $80 but it feeds our family of 4 - 2 whole meals and maybe a lunch sent to work too - so feeds about 8-10 people. Food here is comparable to china town in some dishes. Read more

My wife and i came here for a night out. We had been recomended the Brew Table by the concierge at the Holiday Inn down the street. We had the steak frites and it was incredible. Cooked perfectly and the service was the best i have ever recieved anywhere. An amazing dining experience all around from appetizer to dessert. Have always enjoyed dropping into the Mow for dinner and drinks with friends, but a recent menu change removed a lot of the more interesting menu options and has reduced this place to having more of a cookie-cutter menu. "Mundane" may be too harsh a description, but it's a direct reflection of how much we liked the variety that could be found on the menu previously. We'll likely still go back, but more for drinks and snacks rather than for meals. Read more

The Cheshire Cat Pub is a unique British style pub just outside of Kanata. When you walk in past the red telepone booth, it feels really authentic with the unusual "kitch" that you would find in pubs in England. We were just there, and found that they had taken off most of there regular drafts to replace them with Ontario craft beers. My husband was sad to not have a pint of Erdinger, but we learned that they were doing this to honour Ontario Craft Brew Week and found ourselves trying The Flying Monkey and a pint of Neustad 10w30 (beers I had never heard of!) Good for them we thought! We also learned that most of the menu incorporates local produce, meat and dairy. Anyway, the food was amazing! Pub fare, but with serious style. I had the Chicken Curry, my husband had the hamburger special and our friends both had the fish and chips. The service was friendly and laid back and the owner came up to introduce himself and made us feel like we had been coming for years. It was hopping busy! This is truly one of those places that we will return to time and time again! We can't believe we waited this long to come in! Read more
