    What every city needs!

A little bit of everything for everyone. This was my second visit and the friendly staff was super helpful. I had an unbelievably good vegan grilled cheese sandwich with a Beauty salad. My wife had the B.L.A.T. (bacon, lettuce avacado and tomato) that was excellent. After the meal we went back into the shop and bought some hard to find veggie foods. The highlight was in buying the desserts. Kelly arrives at 5:00am to bake them fresh daily and they're awesome! Everything she bakes is vegan and gluten free. We went home with a banana loaf, vegan oreos, red velvet cupcakes, a brownie and some snicker doodles. (I am going to get sooo fat if I keep doing that). My wife was ecstatic because it's so nice to go into a place where she can trust the food to be vegan. I'm sure all you vegans can appreciate that. If you're in Burlington, you have to stop at Kindfood.

    Kindfood - Vegan Mecca

This place is a one stop for everything you have ever wanted. The approach to food and welcoming attitudes is helping bring in non-vegans as well. I love a business that not only helps fill my needs, but is also in the business of changing hearts and minds!

    Great Vegan Grocery

I have only eaten at Kindfood once, but have visited the store to purchase vegan groceries a few times now. They have a beautiful selection, including mostly whole foods and a fine selection of organic produce. Their prices are fair and their staff (and owners) are bright and inviting. They're always happy to meet their customers and help them find whatever they need. If you're in Burlington or Toronto, Kindfood is a must-visit!

BEST VEGAN FOOD IVE EVER HAD!

Finally, a friendly vegan restaurant has opened up in Burlington. For lunch we had the Happy Buddha rice bowl and the OMG grilled Cheeze and WOW they were both amazing. We also had some treats from their Gluten Free & Vegan Bakery! Also amazing! We had two vegan brownies and 20 chocolate chip cookies (which were gone before we got home). haha. All of the staff were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable on all the products in the store! They even gave us a free sample of the cookies when we walked in the door! Not only that they had an assortment of GF & Vegan breads that looked amazing! We WILL be back to Kindfood again and again! We LOVE it!

Finally !!!! A choice for we long neglected veg-heads

As a Toronto expat (sorry) I have been seriously disappointed about the lack of vegetarian and vegan choices in Burlington. My husband and I are both long time vegetarians and enjoy going out for a meal but we have been so limited in the options the restaurants in Burlington have to offer. When I read about the grand opening of this new restaurant in the local paper last week I immediately put a note in my calendar to check it out. I’m so glad I did because this will become my new go-to place for lunch downtown!! I visited 2 times this week and on both times had an amazing take away lunch. My choice on the first day was a curried tofu wrap and my on my second visit I had a sandwich - which I can’t remember the name of but it was equally as amazing. The menu selections are so tempting I’m sure I can even encourage my carnivore friends and co-workers to check it out. At last, a place we can go to get a yummy and healthy meal in Burlington that is not pasta or pizza. I encourage all fellow Burlington vegetarians and vegans to make the effort to support Kindfood. Maybe we can spark an effort to have other restaurants in Burlington take notice of their success and finally include us in their menus too.
