Getting real stingy with meat ... sandwichs use to big more then a meal ... lasy T few time portion are almost half what it use to be
Simply put, if you have 30 minutes to wait to get a basic chicken sandwich then this is the place is for you. The customer service is absolutely terrible and they are way overpriced for the area. You can get a much more complete sandwich anywhere in Toronto, including Yorkville, for half of the price. Very disappointing and almost ignorant on their behalf to charge those prices for a mediocre sandwich. Furthermore, the staff is rude and very slow. Never go to this place.
Similar to a recent reviewer, I was pretty disappointed to discover just how much of the $9 sandwich I ordered was actually breadding. The paper-thin veal looked actually quite pathetic when analyzed, so if you want to order a great tasting, filling meal, Sinatra's offers just that, however the excess breading will prevent us from eating there as often as we might have.
I am so disappointed. I've been eating Sinatra's sandwiches for a while now, and always found them delicious. Today, I happened to peel away the breading from the veal sandwich, and without exaggeration, found that the veal was thin as a sheet of paper. They put 4 slices on 1 sandwich, I thought that was so generous. Now I feel a bit grossed out that I was mostly eating just breading, and top of a large bun. No wonder the sandwiches are so filling. Last week I tried the meataball sandwich and thought it was tasty also. Except there also seemed to be a lot of filler in the meatballs. I figured that was just their recipe. Now I'm thinking maybe they're just sneaky. Based on this, I'm not sure I'll be going back. I don't mind paying for a good sandwich, but bread on top of bread is not a sandwich.
The roomer around towm is that Sinatra's has the best veal sandwiches in durham. We decided to take the test? We ordered the chicken parmesan, steak and a veal sandwich.Boy O Boy are the rumors right !!!! It smelt like walking into your mothers kitchen for Sunday supper, the sandwiches were fantastic and we will definatley be returning.....Way to go SINATRA's!!!!!
